RPEQ Assessment Body RPEQ Logo

Now that you have successfully registered as an RPEQ, you will be recognised as part of a well-respected group of engineers and your clients, colleagues, employers and the community can be confident of your competency.

To ensure your skills and qualifications remain up to date, RPEQs must commit to regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as per the requirements set out in the CPD logbook and guidelines.

All applicants approved as an RPEQ by IPWEAQ will be subject to a random audit of their CPD activities once every three years. Audited members and registrants will be required to demonstrate a minimum average of 50 hours of CPD per year calculated over a three year rolling period.

IPWEAQ offers regular opportunities for Continuing Professional Development – you can view upcoming courses and events in your area.

As you continue to expand your knowledge and grow your career, you may wish to share your skills and expertise through presentations and papers to help to instill a culture of knowledge sharing in the public works sector.

We would encourage you to look at ways to help the younger generation of engineers by providing advice and mentoring. Perhaps you might even become an Assessor of future RPEQs?
